Our Scotch® apron taper dispenses masking paper and masking tape together to reduce shop waste, save time and improve results. Technicians simply dispense masking paper with masking tape already applied along its edge, ready to use. The apron taper doesn't require mounting and keeps masking paper and tape rolls (sold separately) within reach and ready for use. Another simple, effective tool to save time and hassle in the shop - our Scotch® apron taper keeps masking paper and masking tape together and allows auto body technicians to dispense masking paper ready to use, with tape already applied. The paper apron taper arrives fully assembled and can be placed on any horizontal surface. It can also be mounted on a wall or a bench, with four 5/16 in holes in its tubular frame and a knife bracket that pivots upward 90 deg for vertical wall mounting. The apron taper holds most Scotch® brand masking tapes 3/4 in or wider. Models are available for 18 in and 36 in masking paper rolls. Setup of the Scotch® apron taper is fast and easy. Technicians simply load the paper and the tape (both sold separately) to their rolls on the apron taper, attach the tape the edge of the paper and thread the paper and tape through the knife bracket. The paper is ready to dispense with a simple pull and tears off easily and evenly. The result is a ready-to-use masking paper at any length desired with tape already attached all along the edge, saving time and money all the way through the process. Additional parts including a kit, are available for inboard paper apron edge taping (applying tape to both sides of the masking paper) or for dispensing more than one apron.
