Description
Scotch-Brite™ aircraft cleaning pad is a lofty textured non-woven web manufactured with a unique non-abrasive polymer. The non-abrasive coating increases the wet friction, enabling the pad to clean more efficiently than non-woven pads, urethane foam and cellulose sponges. Our Scotch-Brite™ aircraft cleaning pad has been tested with aircraft cleaning agents compliant with MIL -PRF-86937D and MIL-PRF885570C and is also usable with a variety of other cleaners. The pad works in conjunction with pressure wash systems and attaches easily to 3M™ pad holders and extension rods. Scotch-Brite™ aircraft cleaning pad is a unique cleaning product where the polymer coating is incorporated into non-woven synthetic fibers. Combining the non-abrasive coating into the fibers creates a cleaning tool that delivers consistent results over its lifetime. Our Scotch-Brite™ abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasives incorporated into non-woven fiber matrix. Combining abrasives and non-woven material creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open web material runs cool and is load resistant, which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibers.
