Conformability of the nylon web makes this abrasive useful for removing surface oxidation, rust and corrosion on dies and molds prior to coating and polishing. Our Scotch-Brite™ cross buffs are commonly used in aerospace, automotive and other industrial markets. The purple cleaning and polishing tool uses an aluminum oxide abrasive capable of producing a high luster finish.
