Equipped with a waterproof polyester backing and proprietary 3M™ microreplication technology, our 3M™ Trizact™ PSA film disc 268XA is specially designed for polishing and finishing applications. 3M™ Trizact™ abrasives have 3-dimensional structures containing multiple layers of abrasive materials. As these pyramid like structures wear, fresh, sharp mineral is exposed. Equipped with a waterproof polyester backing and proprietary 3M™ micro replication technology, our 3M™ Trizact™ PSA film disc 268XA is specially designed for polishing and finishing application. We chose a polyester film backing for 3M™ Trizact™ PSA film disc 268XA, because it is water-resistant and can be run wet or dry. This disc is commonly used for damp sanding on a variety of substrates, including acrylic products, solid surface materials and glass. Using a lubricant like water helps the disc run cool and wash away debris that could warp or discolor the substrate. Depending on the project or application, 3M™ Trizact™ PSA film disc 268XA typically is used during the middle of a sequence to help bring the workpiece one step closer to the matte, semi gloss or high gloss finish desired.
