3M™ Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesive 2214 hi-density/regular are designed to provide high strength, higher temperature resistance and smooth bond lines. 1-part, 250 deg F (121 deg C) curing, 100% solids, these high performance adhesives are designed for bonding metals and many high temperature plastics such as fiberglass reinforced plastic, polyester and phenolics. Our 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesive 2214 regular is an aluminum-filled general purpose product for use in applications where high strength bonds are needed in a temperature range of -67 deg F to 250 deg F (-53 deg C to 121 deg C). Our 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesive 2214 hi-density includes additional de-aeration for an extremely dense, void-free bond line. Both epoxy adhesives may be applied by spatula, trowel or flow equipment to meet your individual project requirements. This 3M™ epoxy adhesive has a 3:2 mix ratio by volume and cures at room temperature, reaching its handling strength in approximately 10 hr. Our Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesive 1751 offers a 45-minute work-life. The extended work-life allows for proper application, positioning and adjustment in order to reach optimum final results for aesthetic results when troweling and spackling. Epoxy adhesives are part of the class of adhesives called \"structural adhesives,\" which include polyurethane, acrylic, cyanoacrylate and others.
